As a Starbucks tax accountant II, you will_. . .
- ENJOY WORKING ON COLLABORATIVE TEAM and have a clear ability to work on process efficiencies and drive the business forward, while also completing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax tasks assigned to the tax team, including tax payment requests, tax returns, and tax reporting for over 180K+ partners in all 50 states and 11 Provinces in Canada.
- ANALYZE AND RESEARCH DATA – You will be responsible to collect data for tax authorities requested during tax controversies including inquiries, audits and appeals to assist with abatements in a timely and organized manner. You will also run and analyze system audits to ensure data integrity.
- SUPPORT TAX PROJECTS AND TESTING – You will be responsible to assist with the planning and implementation of tax planning projects, while also assisting with some system testing.

We’d love to hear from people with:
Multi-state and provincial payroll tax experience, including payment, reconciling, and filing, 2 years minimum
- Strong analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally in writing
