Apex Leadership Athletes are responsible for running a 2-week program in Minnesota schools throughout the school year. We are seeking outstanding college grads or recent college grads to fill our team member positions. Team Members will work with a Team Lead at Minnesota Elementary schools, and provide a thrilling pep rally, deliver classroom lessons about leadership & character, jump into a P.E. class or lead a game of Dodge Ball, Ships Across the Ocean or any other recess favorite. Provide classroom dance parties, and have fun. Further, serving as a liaison between Apex Fun Run and our clients during their fundraiser. We work with school principals and PTA/O’s directly. Your professionalism at all times matters.

Yes, we have fun but we are serious about what we do. We will TRAIN you, but your background and effort in the following will make you the better candidate.

• You will give quality classroom lessons and deliver daily thank you gifts to students for their efforts.
• You will execute pep rallies and fun runs for a whole school event.
• You will coordinate with school clients before, during and after the program to meet client satisfaction.
• You will transport equipment to and from schools. Load trailers with school supplies for program.
• Manage inventory, assist and support your team to execute a red-carpet event for schools.
• You will help cultivate relationships with all students, parents, staff and volunteers. Providing stellar customer service that will blow them away!
• You will attend staff meetings and various work-related functions, including ongoing training, special events and projects throughout the year.
• You will perform other job-related duties as apparent or assigned.
• Full-time Monday-Friday during the school year: August-May. Great opportunity for those who want the freedom to travel.

DETAILS:

• The job offers summers and holidays off
• You have reliable transportation
• You will be driving to different schools every two weeks. Mostly metro but some non-metro like St. Michael or Red Wing (2-week increments)
• Requires some travel- some of our employees already want to travel so we won't ask you to travel more than 2X a year. Examples of locations: Texas, CA, Virginia, Kansas for 2-week increments. Most employees love the opportunity to travel on someone else's dime! Plus, it's usually in the winter so it's a good time to change things up. Travel bonus and daily stipend included for travel.

• You love kids: Someday you would like to have 15 kids of your own, but in the meantime, you will surround yourself with as many as you can in class or camp setting. Your patience is immeasurable and you never lose your cool. You realize that kids look up to you and your goal is to constantly inspire them to be the best they can be not only in your words but with your daily actions!

• You get things done: You are half human, half machine. You follow through on every task, no matter how big or small. You don’t like to let people down and you understand the importance of staying on schedule. “That’s not My JOB”, is not part of your vocabulary.

• You communicate: You keep everyone in the know so that the job gets done efficiently and effectively. You know when to ask for help, when to listen, and when to speak up. You’re known for your fun professionalism.
