    Eataly, the largest Italian food marketplace in the world, is looking to hire experienced Front of House Service Staff for its stores in NYC, Boston and Chicago!

    Restaurant FOH food service members are responsible for communicating with front- and back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience that surpasses guest expectations. Full-time hours available.

    Duties and responsibilities include:

    • Adhering to all standard steps of service as recommended by department.

    • Adhering to all company and department procedures, policies, expectations and quality standards.

    • Greeting guests as appropriate after they are seated. Informs guests of specials and menu changes, makes suggestions, and answers questions regarding food, beverages, allergies and service.

    • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house, including all tables, chairs, floors, other guest dining areas and service station.

    • Stocking, removing, and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.

    • Engaging diners to ensure that they are satisfied with the food/ service, responding to additional requests, and determining when the meal has been completed.

    • Processing guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.

    • Pouring non-alcoholic beverages as requested by customers. May present, open, and pour wine/beer when serving guests as well (based on position).

    • Totaling bill and accepting payment, making change or preparing credit card vouchers.

  • Qualifications
    • Customer service experience

    • Food & Beverage/ Hospitality experience

  • Desired skills

    Basic Floor Service, Food & Beverage Knowledge, Classic Food & Wine Service, Customer Service, Italian Cuisine.

    - Hourly wage in compliance with FLSA Status - Additional tips (non-exempt)
