    The role…

    Develop strategy and tactics to identify, engage, and motivate different member groups within the 24M members of Choice Privileges with the goal of driving significant growth in member stay revenue. Choice Privileges is Choice Hotel’s 24MM+ hotel rewards program, delivering nearly half a billion emails to global members to support engagement at our 6,000 properties around the world.

    Be a thought leader behind building and testing a customer-centric communication plan that is based on a deep comprehension of targeting most attractive guest segments through the utilization of stay and attitudinal data sets.

    Collaborate closely with the loyalty communication team to develop aggressive test and learn plan within channels to optimize response and engagement. Enthusiastically communicate results with internal partners to drive loyalty impact and awareness of email toward key goals.

    Measure results in partnership with internal/external analytics partners to determine opportunities to drive new acquisition, improve engagement and repeat stay behavior, and shift share of wallet.

    Key stakeholder in the utilization of personalization tactics across channels, in coordination with internal/external partners, to deliver tailored messaging to key member groups.

    Infuse learnings with Choice Privileges team to evolve future program benefits, partnerships, and tactics.

    What you will do…

    CP Member Strategy:

    • Develop strategy and tactics to identify, engage, and motivate different member groups the Choice Privileges membership base.
    • Work in collaboration with immediate teammates, Promotional & Relationship Marketing teams, and data analysis support teams.
    • Primary objectives are to drive member revenue and program engagement. (40%)

    Segmentation Strategy:

    • Manage appropriate clusters of members based on opportunities for growing incremental revenue streams and attracting new guests into the Choice Privileges program.
    • Must work closely with data analysis teams to objectively demonstrate the opportunity for current versus incremental revenue opportunity and then outline the communication and implementation strategy that should support this framework that would be executed in item I, above.
    • Leverage personalization functionality to fit properly with segmentation frameworks and deploy appropriately.

    Reporting & Analytics:

    • Develop the timely, accurate collection of member and campaign insights that can be leveraged for change within the test and learn agenda and influence future member contact strategy.
    • Set goals that are closely monitored toward meeting lift against key program metrics. (30%)

    Skills you have…

    • BS degree in Marketing, Finance, or Economics required.
    • Two years of experience in direct marketing, consumer marketing, and/or advertising, preferably in the hotel industry or loyalty marketing programs, preferred.
    • Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence across channels; proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive aggressive action.
    • Must be able to develop Excel-based reporting and provide detailed, timely analytics to support revenue growth for the program.
    • Must be able to manage projects within a team structure through collaboration with multiple teammates and other departments.
    • Must enforce brand standards and maintain strict production timeline discipline.
    • Superior data analytics, measurement, data mining and modeling skills.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, professionalism and integrity.
    • Must be able to uphold Choice’s Values & Performance Principles of collaboration, performance excellence, sense of urgency, openness to new ideas, inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, and respect.
