    Job Description

    Experian’s Summer Internship Program is a unique opportunity for students across the country to gain hands-on work experience in our innovative global company. Our interns work alongside Experian employees to tackle meaningful projects and gain valuable skills in their chosen field. During our summer internship program, interns will have access to the latest technologies and challenging work. As a summer intern, you’ll learn about our exciting financial inclusion products and programs, experience philanthropic events that make us a force for good, and network across our global business units.     Responsibilities of the Front End Web Developer Intern include:

    • Prototype, develop, test and integrate best-in-class web-site coding

    • Turn requirements such as wireframes, prototypes and interactive user interfaces into fully functional and highly performing web components

    • Collaborate with Business, UX, QA and back end teams to deliver superior functionalities

    • Integrate web services in the AWS cloud from multi-tiered web applications

    • Optimize existing code with engineering best practices

    • Maintain high code coverage for unit testing

    • Participates in the full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer science or related degree

    • Be returning to school in the Fall of 2023 to complete degree program

    • Strong computer science fundamentals, including website design

    • Knowledge of  browser development on a large scale public facing application

    • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction

    • Understanding of responsive design, web standards and UI/UX best practices

    • Experience using multiple CSS/JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular, Bootstrap, Foundation, storybook, etc.)

    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
