    Job Description

    The legal intern will be part of the Procurement Legal Team (NA), a team responsible for negotiating and drafting various types of agreements mostly technology (software, cloud), professional services, and data acquisition agreements. The legal intern will be required to perform various tasks including:

    • reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documentation

    • updating contracts templates

    • updating other legal templates and procurement processes and procedures

    • legal research and writing; and

    • overall day to day support to Procurement Legal Team on legal matters

    The legal intern will be under the supervision of senior contracts counsel and/or head of the Procurement Legal team.  

    Qualifications

    • Enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree-granting program at an accredited institution

    • Current class of 2L or above. 

    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

    • Strong research and writing skills  

    • Coursework or experience in contracts law and business transaction law preferred

    • Proactive with excellent communication skills and highly organized
