    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a communications intern, you will support our internal Creative Services team by working on communications projects in various media for (primarily) employee audiences. Specifically, you will:

    • Create content for various media (writing)
    • Manage small-scale communications projects
    • Assist with medium to large-scale projects

    WHAT SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

    • Strong writing skills are required
    • Able to demonstrate knowledge of communication trends and industry tools
    • Organizational skills
    • Must have good verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, writers, designers and videographers
    • Proficient in Microsoft office products including word and excel.

     

     WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

    • Knowledge of Communication theory
    • Working knowledge of design principles and video production a plus but not required
    • Working knowledge of PowerPoint is a plus.

    EDUCATION

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications (General, Business, Digital), Journalism, English or related
    • Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
