    Your Responsibilities

    The Internship Program is for students enrolled in major fields of study that align with full-time employment opportunities at John Deere. Students may enter the program during undergraduate or graduate studies. The majority of our internship experiences are offered in the summer months, usually lasting 13 weeks.

    The John Deere intern experience prepares candidates for future roles in John Deere’s Equipment divisions, including our development programs. As a Summer 2018 Marketing Intern, you will receive varied work experiences that provide exposure to John Deere’s product lines, marketing and customer support activities, and the independent dealer organization.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Participate in training related to product, sales and marketing processes.
    • Fulfill a variety of developmental assignments to gain an understanding of marketing and field experience.
    • Deliver and/or assist with product promotional events.
    • Learn about the dealer distribution channel.
    • Work with selected field managers to gain experience.

    Skills You Will Need

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Ag Business, Ag Economics, Agronomy, Construction Management and other related degrees.
    • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and have the ability to legally rent a car.
    • Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulate GPA required 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • We have internship locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
    • Work Statement: US Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
