    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    DUTIES:

    • As a Material Flow engineer, you will assist in streamlining the flow of purchased materials from the supplier to the point of use in Assembly.
    • Specifically, you will analyze current costs and delivery methods, research better methods, and make proposals to management staff for best practice of internal part delivery.
    • In addition, the intern will work with salary and wage personnel to determine the best utilization of trailer delivery and dock usage.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Basic understanding of supply chain principals

    • Basic understanding of industrial engineering principles and lean materials management 

    • Basic MIS skills(such as MS Access, excel, etc.) 

    • Moderate to advanced Excel skills

    • Understanding of business tools such as creating a business case, inventory analysis, analytical acumen 

    • Strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiating skills 

    • Moderate project management and organization skills 

    • Strong analytical skills 

    • Strong problem solving skills

    • DESIRED:

    • Skills in Microsoft Office 2007

    • Advanced MIS skills

    • Advanced project management and organization skills

    • SAP experience

    • EDUCATION:

    • Currently pursuing a 4 year degree.

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Logistics, Transportation, Economics, or Business Management
