Our Interns

Studio71’s internship program is designed to complement academics with practical experience in media and entertainment. Through the program, students will gain real-world experience developing and launching an online brand, pair with a mentor to follow an individualized learning plan, and attend weekly seminars taught by industry executives. This is a great opportunity to build a network in entertainment and the digital content space and get a jumpstart on your career.

Position Summary

If you are interested in Scripted Series & Feature Development, this internship is for you. We are seeking smart, motivated interns interested in working in scripted development. Overall, the experience is meant to expose interns to the world of feature and series development and give them a better understanding of the processes and infrastructure of a digital production company.

What You’ll Get To Do

• Read and evaluate script and book submissions.
• Write script coverage.
• Update company script databases, filmmaker grids, and researching up-and-coming talent.
• Pitch projects to the scripted team.

About You

• Exceptional organizational skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Interested in gaining experience in digital and entertainment
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Before applying be sure to meet the following criteria

• Be enrolled at an accredited university for the duration of the internship.
• Must qualify for academic credit through the program, since it is an unpaid internship.
• Be able to dedicate at least 15 hours (per week) to the internship and must maintain a regular schedule.
• You must be located in Los Angeles for the duration of the program. -We do not provide relocation assistance.
• You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered.
