Content research, creation, and editing:
Generate original content – research, ideate, write, edit, produce and assist in scheduling content across ToryBurchFoundation.org including educational tools/tutorials, articles, interviews, and special features.
Research and identify content contributors, tools and interviewees.
Edit and ensure all web content is easy to read and is effective in its message.
Aggregate content to produce and maintain thematic landing pages that are compelling, cohesive, and on-message.
Plan for the development, maintenance, and revision of content throughout its lifecycle on the web.
Bring the voice of the Foundation to life through copy across all channels.
Work closely with graphic design to secure images that will enhance engagement.
Produce detailed performance reports and presentations when necessary.
Stay on top of new trends in the content space and work to incorporate ideas into Foundation programming.
Report to Manager of Digital and Marketing for approvals, plans and implementing content audits, workflow and editorial calendars.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Must be enrolled at an accredited university as a junior or senior, grad student preferred
Must be detail oriented and able to produce quality work and writing in a fast paced environment.
Excellent writing, communications and storytelling skills with an interest in entrepreneurship, women’s leadership and social impact.
Basic understanding of SEO and social optimization.
Social media natural, capable of engaging audience through multiple channels.
Proactive, sense of humor, committed to excellence, team player.
Analytical and creative problem-solver with a strong intuition for operations and operational strategies.

Ability to brainstorm and generate ideas with quick deadlines.
Prior internship experience in editorial, publishing, agency, media, communications, marketing or copyediting.
Strong knowledge about entrepreneurship, women’s leadership, and business trends.
Highly proficient in WordPress and Microsoft Suite
Highly proficient in using social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram applications. Proven track record of increasing social communities.
