UPS is seeking an experienced Associate Automotive Fleet Supervisor to maintain a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet of vehicles. They'll assist Automotive Fleet management with the use and care of physical assets, controls costs, manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto technicians and internal customers and performs regular equipment and facility audits across multiple shifts and locations. This is a development position intended to supervise automotive technicians at the completion of the Automotive Development Program (ADP). The primary responsibility of the Associate Automotive Fleet Supervisor is to learn through on-the-job training, assigned training modules and classes, and progress into an Automotive Fleet Supervisor position. To do this, the Associate Automotive Fleet Supervisor will learn to perform and schedule preventative maintenance inspections, review results, monitor repairs, and perform vehicle audits to ensure technicians adhere to safety, regulatory and appearance standards. They will also learn to identify root causes, cost saving strategies, and support automotive safety and regulatory compliance.
