    JOB SUMMARY

    The Corporate Conveyor Systems CAD Administrative Supervisor possesses advanced experience and competence with AutoDesk software specializing in NavisWorks Manage. The main role of this position is to provide technical support for all AutoDesk software during a department’s transition from a 2D to 3D environment. He/She establishes best 3D CAD practices for cross-discipline engineering department/s, conducts periodic training, and maintains a standard 3D block library. This position is responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software conflicts and managing department’s project file server storage and archives. The Corporate Conveyor Systems CAD Administrative Supervisor troubleshoots PC related hardware/software conflicts. He/She provides technical support for 3D AutoCAD software. This position customizes 3D AutoCAD environments.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Maintains department’s engineering software inventory.
    • Investigates and recommends new engineering technology solutions.
    • Leads Building Information Modeling (BIM) integration between mechanical, electrical, and construction groups.
    • Creates designs using computer drafting program/s (e.g., AutoCAD) for stakeholders.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline – Preferred
    • Ability to demonstrate experience using 3D Software - Preferred
    • Experience conducting training – Preferred
