    WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Working in a professional office environment. Very team oriented. Can be demanding at times due to deadlines. Business casual attire. This position has contact with all levels of management.

    JOB SUMMARY:  The FR&P intern is responsible for a number of duties that may include preparing a weekly forecast, review of general ledger expenses and allocations to the business units as well as assisting the department with actual airline reporting and planning.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  This individual will utilize Longview, Brio and other tools to research managerial and statutory expense variances. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining statutory and managerial reporting structures, performing general ledger maintenance and Oracle reference table maintenance as well as miscellaneous reporting and projects.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:  Already obtained or working toward a BS/BA in a business field (accounting, finance, economics, etc.). Proficient in MS Office applications and excellent customer service. Must have strong financial analysis skills. Proficient understanding of accounting principles. Upon interview selection candidate must provide the following during the interview: unofficial transcript and a document that clearly defines their career objective and relevant experience.

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS:  Knowledge of F&A information systems and reporting tools (Longview, Oracle General Ledger, OBI/Financial Data Mart). Ability to identify and lead process improvement opportunities.

    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple tasks successfully and possess good planning and organizational skills. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

    Founded on a $100 loan in 1907, 2 teenage boys opened up a messenger service in a 6 by 17 foot office located just below the sidewalk on Second Avenue and Main Street in Seattle, WA. Messengers ran errands, carried notes, hand baggage, and delivered trays of food for customers. They also delivered packages, traveling by streetcars and bicycles for longer trips, and later using motorcycles.
