    JOB SUMMARY

    The Finance Intern position performs Financial Analysis & Reporting using general finance and accounting processes, which includes researching and analyzing complex business data. The intern will conduct customer profitability analyses and complete ad hoc financial reports, which identifies opportunities for cost reduction and cost forecasting. The intern will have contact with management at several levels and related departments. He or she will report to a Finance Project Manager who will direct their work. The Finance Intern will have no supervisory responsibilities.

    JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Financial reporting
    • Compile and analyze data 
    • Identifies general trends in relevant data
    • Conduct macro-economic/profit Analyses
    • Conduct internal/external research in identified areas 
    • Produce spreadsheet and reports

    FINANCE KNOWLEDGE

    • Accurately reads and interprets financial reports and statements 
    • Demonstrates an understanding of relevant financial measures, revenue and cost drivers
    • Applies financial analysis to recommend solutions that support business objectives

    REPORT GENERATION

    • Generates reports in appropriate format using basic software, which includes, but is not limited to Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Tableau is a plus

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Graduate or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field - Preferred
