UPS is seeking a Distribution Associate Manager to impact the organization by analyzing and planning for operational success and customer satisfaction in a warehouse or station. The Distribution Associate Manager monitors volume for respective clients and ensures client contractual compliance. They'll develop operational goals and plans, monitor and communicates performance against plan, review margins, acts as liaison with customers, set priorities and coordinates with various functions to improve efficiency.
In addition to managing supervisors and hourly employees, the Distribution Associate Manager reviews contract guidelines to establish inventory control standards and procedures for performance measurement. They'll develop operational plans to define and communicate new operating processes and compliance standards (e.g., returns, shipments, receipts, etc.) and evaluates quality goals to develop process improvements and increase quality levels.
