    UPS is seeking a dynamic Procurement Process Specialist to support Procurement Operations initiatives. You'll research, recommend, develop and implement process improvements within the group. The Procurement Process Specialist collaborates with global, cross-functional UPS teams, leveraging technology and employing critical thinking to drive efficiencies.     RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Facilitates user business requirement development to create useful applications
    • Prepares project timelines and communicates to the requester to set expectations
    • Assists in the development of project plans (i.e., detailed plan, milestones, and work breakdown structures) and assigns tasks to resources to ensure the project will be completed on time and according to specifications
    • Troubleshoots current applications isolate errors and take corrective action to resolve issues
    • Provides customer service support and solutions to vendors, the procurement sourcing team, and automotive department via service calls and solutions service center requests
    • Tests software and hardware within the materials distribution center

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Previous related work experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Preferred
    • Access and database management experience - Preferred
    • Experience with Oracle ERP system - Preferred
    • Experience with SaaS based electronic platforms (i.e., Ariba, Tradeshift) - Preferred
