    If you’re looking for a new opportunity to demonstrate your financial and business acumen, we want to hear from you! UPS is looking for a Revenue Management Pricing Specialist to support the UPS Sales teams. He/She will review incentive requests for accuracy. Subsequently, he/she will conduct analysis and prepare agreements for approval using Revenue Management tools to ensure UPS’s approval guidelines have been met. The Revenue Management Pricing Specialist supports the Sales team in their efforts to grow profitable volume through incentive proposals, and answer pricing-related questions and provide supplemental information to Sales during the Pricing appeal process.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Works directly with the Sales team to develop the appropriate pricing strategies for individual accounts
    • Communicates on a daily basis the Revenue Management strategies of the organization
    • Develops and implements incentive agreements and reviews with the Sales team to fulfill customer requests
    • Compares and benchmarks sales requests to competitive market rates for similar type accounts
    • Ensures compliance with UPS Revenue Management policies and profitability goals
    • Completes analysis in support of pricing analyst with basic direction
    • Obtains knowledge of pricing systems and tools to accurately monitor proposals through the bid cycle
    • Works with appropriate internal systems to ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation
    • Works with Sales to verify correct implementation of accepted agreements

  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Familiar with Microsoft Office products
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate UPS Pricing position with members of the Sales teams
    • Understands basic financial terminology and concepts such as revenue, cost, operating ratios, and must have the ability to conduct basic financial analyses
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics or related field - Preferred
    • Spanish or Portuguese skills - Preferred
