Community Strategy & Business Development Intern (paid) in NYC
Do you love being active?
Are you the one in the group volunteering to captain intramural teams and organizing ski trips?
Can make instant friends with a person on line at the grocery store?
recCenter is a technology company in the recreational sports industry, and we are creating a community based marketplace for everything recreational sports.
Recreational sports (think kickball leagues, running clubs, pickup hoops etc.) is an awesome way to stay active, see your friends, and meet new people…yet there is no good place to see what’s out there. If you get why that’s a problem you might be perfect for this gig! Our ideal candidate is someone who walks into a room of people and can’t leave without making a few friends. Someone who is obsessed with connecting people, and uses the good kind of peer pressure to convince people to get involved. She/He loves sports and talking to people about sports.
