  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team! As a Video Editor at our company, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes.

    As video has become the best way for communicating company's messages on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our company's success. If you answered yes, then our Technology Experience (TechX) Internship Program is for you!

    TechX is a part-time (15-20 hours a week) internship for students currently enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate degree program, majoring in Engineering, Project/Product Management, Data Management or other Technology related fields. The program is nine months from October through June during which you will gain experience working through different challenges and projects. You'll partner with the best senior technologists in the industry and even have the opportunity to rotate teams giving you exposure to a wide variety of technologies across our organization.

    Program Overview:

    • Program duration: October 9, 2019 - June 12, 2020 (or until graduation, whichever comes first)
    • Available locations: Seattle Metro Area, Parsippany, Downers Grove, Atlanta, & Dallas/Fort Worth
    • Work hours: Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
    • Rotation: Interns may participate in an optional team rotation at the mid-point (February)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Capture studio-quality photographs and video
    • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing
    • Work with our creative teammates
    • Regularly collaborate with marketing team
    • Follow the company's brand guidelines
    • Present to senior management
    • Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy
    • Experience of using video and editing equipment
    • Creative thinker
    • Good time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
    • Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree majoring in a technical field including: Film Editing and/ or Production, Communications.
    • Able to work 15 to 20 hours per week during regular daytime business hours (schedule will be flexible to accommodate classes and coursework)
    • Ability to commute to T-Mobile's offices (relocation is not provided)
    • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Pre-employment background screen.
