  • Responsibilities

    Mission and defining characteristics:

    • Assists build of analysis of sales fundamentals in order to gain share profitably at their account
    • Member of Brand Sales team specific customer in field
    • Supports CDM’s and NAM’s with brand selling stories and tracking performance
    • Owner and expert on the Haircolor & Haircare categories

    Main tasks:

    Customer Developer

    • Analyze the growth levers with specific focus on the shopper so selling is through shopper insights.
    • Support the Brand Sales customer strategy through detailed analysis

    Team Contributor

    • Supports NAMs and CDM on all fundamental analysis required
    • Drive the business as key member, by collaborating with multi-functional team and leveraging all insights to drive brand growth. Maintains all reporting needed to run the business.

    Category Support

    • Lead on tthe Haircolor and Haircare categories: reporting, analytics, insights and recommendations
    • Knowledge of the full Brand portfolio and competitive products at a specific customer

    Results Contributor

    • Supports NAM & CDM on objectives and growing share of business for category
    • Develops reporting for all initiatives and key opportunities
    • Must become proficient at leveraging the various platforms available for analysis and insights

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Interacts effectively
    • Demonstrates analytical approach to business management
      • Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
      • Strong knowledge of retailer data/syndicated data
      • Deep knowledge of beauty and personal care, specifically for given category
    • 2 to 3 years in an data or analytics-focused role, working on projects that have enabled them to build strong quantitative skills and business judgment
    • Advanced math and analytical skills, fluency in Excel and databases (must pass an excel test)
    • Ability to break down complex problems into pieces that can be solved with data, analysis, and key assumptions
    • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights, communicate across different internal and external stakeholders
