These Official Rules govern the WayUp Referral Program (the “Program”). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor.
WayUp, Inc., 55 E. Monroe Street, Suite 3600, Chicago, Illinois 60603 (“Sponsor”).
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry and who hold an active WayUp candidate account in good standing. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and the immediate family members and household members of each, are not eligible.
The Sweepstakes runs in consecutive monthly sweepstakes periods (each, a “Sweepstakes Period”). Each Sweepstakes Period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the first day of the calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of that month, except that the first Sweepstakes Period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on September 17, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2026. Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeping device.
Sign in to your WayUp account, open the Referral Program panel in your profile, and share your unique referral link. You receive one (1) entry into the drawing for the applicable Sweepstakes Period each time a person who does not already hold a WayUp account creates a candidate account using your link and verifies their email address. There is no limit on the number of entries you may earn in a Sweepstakes Period. Referral credit is attributed for ninety (90) days from the click, and an entry is allocated to the Sweepstakes Period in which the referred person completes email verification, regardless of when the click occurred. Each referred person may generate no more than one (1) entry. Entries do not carry over between Sweepstakes Periods. Self-referrals, duplicate or disposable email addresses, accounts created by automated means, purchased or incentivized traffic, unsolicited bulk messaging, and any distribution that misrepresents WayUp or the referrer will not generate an entry and may result in disqualification.
Alternatively, to enter without making a referral, you may submit an entry by sending an email with your full name, address, and the subject line “WayUp Referral Sweepstakes Entry” to support@wayup.com during the applicable Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) entry per person per Sweepstakes Period via this alternative method.
One (1) prize per Sweepstakes Period: a $150 USD Amazon.com Gift Card. Approximate retail value: $150. Limit one (1) prize per person per Sweepstakes Period. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer. Amazon is not a sponsor of, and is not affiliated with, this promotion. No cash equivalent or substitution except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Within five (5) business days after the close of each Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during that Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during that Sweepstakes Period. Each entry has an equal chance of being selected; earning more entries increases your chances of winning but does not guarantee a win.
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address on their WayUp account within ten (10) business days after the close of the Sweepstakes Period and must respond within five (5) business days. Sponsor may require execution of an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release. Failure to respond, ineligibility, or return of a notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner in a further random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries for that Sweepstakes Period.
All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Where the aggregate prize value awarded to an individual reaches $600 or more in a calendar year, Sponsor will require a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is released and will issue an IRS Form 1099.
Sponsor reserves the right to audit referral activity and to disqualify any participant or void any entry it reasonably believes has been generated in a manner that tampers with the Sweepstakes, violates the WayUp Terms of Service, or is fraudulent, abusive, or not in the spirit of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, last initial, and state of residence for promotional purposes without further compensation.
Information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes is handled in accordance with the WayUp Privacy Policy at https://www.wayup.com/privacy/
By participating, you release Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any liability for any loss, harm, injury, or damage arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of a prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time, for any reason, including where fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the close of a Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor may award the prize in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of termination.
The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media or messaging platform through which a referral link may be shared.
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Sweepstakes is not open to residents of states where registration or bonding requirements are not met. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible or a resident of a jurisdiction where the promotion is void, an alternate winner may be selected.
