Nothing will help you stand out more at a future accounting internship or job interview than being able to speak to real experience using QuickBooks and managing accounts. Then beyond small business opportunities there are plenty of medium to larger size firms that offer a variety of different internships in accounting with a range of cultures and compensation packages.
