2026 Animation Entry-level Jobs in Colorado

Recent graduates who hold a degree in animation or a relevant field will be excited to find that there are many entry-level jobs in animation available. Many of these animation jobs are with major animation studios such as Pixar and Walt Disney, which both have extensive college-level hiring programs. All it takes is one good position to get your foot in the door and to embark on an exciting career in animation, in which you could potentially earn as much as $28 per hour or more, according to the 2010 projections from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Animation entry-level jobs, in addition to paying well, are very exciting. Imagine working next to acclaimed animators to create cartoons, visual effects, special features and more that will be seen by millions of people in movies, in advertising campaigns, and even on some of your favorite television programs! When you work near such celebrated artists, you’ll be able to learn from them and develop your skills as an artist--something that can benefit you both personally and professionally. As of 2010, there were around 66,500 jobs in animation and, based on projections, that figure has certainly increased in number over the past few years. These positions are not intended to stay stagnant. Animators are brought in for the expressed purpose of discovering new skill and talent, so if you have what it takes, you could find yourself being promoted until you’re one of those “top artists” that everyone is raving about and clamoring to work with.
